I have been creating manuals for DMG MORI, machine tool company, for over 20 years. The most interesting part of our work is that Japanese contents and English contents are created by the same person. In this way, the quality of both Japanese and English contents improves.
Since 2017, we have been working with German and Italian colleagues to harmonize the contents of our documents. This is really challenging, but we cooperate with each other very well. For this work, terminology harmonization is really important. We have a weekly meeting for document harmonization and another weekly meeting for terminology harmonization. Work is so interesting!
And of course we discuss meta data, too!
