Who needs structure, they said. Who needs schemas, they said. We've got AI, and AI will do it all. You've got an LLM. You've got content. You've got answers, though they're nowhere near the accuracy you need to get the business results you want. Now you're looking for how to keep your boss happy while keeping customers happy and maintaining operational efficiencies. The answer lies in taking a holistic approach to content production and delivery. Harald Stadlbauer and Rahel Bailie bring together their collective knowledge to elevate the performance of content being served up using natural language queries.

In this 2-hour workshop, participants will combine theory and hands-on practice to compare and contrast how semantic structures combined with semantic schemas turn into a powerful potion that, when consumed by AI, turns mundane into magic. Participants should have some knowledge of content structure (HTML, DITA, Markdown, etc), but no experience with an LLM is necessary.

Takeaways

Participants will learn:

  • how to apply eight structural techniques to content

  • compare three types of semantic schemas

  • how to combine these techniques for better use by AI
