This presentation tells the story of how we used analytics to finally see what our documentation was really doing for users. We started with a simple problem: we had plenty of content, but no clear sense of which pages helped users—and which left them searching for answers. By introducing engagement metrics, traffic patterns, and search insights, the picture changed. We could follow users’ engagement with documentation and identify which documentation needs clearer explanations or better visibility. The session covers how we interpreted these metrics, integrated them into our content strategy, and made data-guided improvements. I’ll share the impact we observed and how this journey continues to shape more discoverable, effective documentation.
