Many software development companies rely on Confluence and Jira (both Atlassian products that work hand in hand) for software development. This often leads to the idea of using Confluence not only as a company wiki or for internal documentation purposes, but also to create external user documentation and publish it from there to different target formats. In the presentation, I will show for whom and under what conditions Confluence from Atlassian can be a good documentation tool. At the same time, I will present weaknesses and documentation hurdles. In my presentation, I will provide you with a helpful basis for decision-making and also give you lots of practical insights.
