Patrice Prusko

Instructional Designer, Cornell University

Dr. Prusko is passionate about using technology to increase global access to STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education and enable all students to have a globally networked learning experience. She is an Instructional Designer at Cornell University, a Lecturer at SUNY Empire State College School for Graduate Studies and consultant. Dr. Prusko is currently working on the following research projects: Using the SenseMaker® tool and methodology to better understand how we might reimagine access to education in ways that lead to more stories of thriving communities; Experience of inclusiveness of first generation and underrepresented minority (URM) students in large gateway STEM courses, and what it means to be an educated person in 2018 and beyond. She holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from Union College and a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction from University at Albany.
