Vita

Patrick Wels studied media and computer science and worked as a freelance journalist for over ten years. After a tekom traineeship and winning the 2015 Dokupreis, he has now been working in the field of software documentation for 13 years. Patrick's master's thesis in technical communication is on the topic of “UX Writing meets Usable Security: Optimizing human-computer interaction using the example of browser security warnings”. He is currently a product content manager for UX writing and technical documentation for cloud security software.
