Molecular Content in Volatile Contexts

Ray Gallon | 1. day, Lecture

With AI and the Internet of Things, information ecosystems will have very fine-grained knowledge of our contexts. This information changes from moment to moment.

Intel calls the snapshot of our current context a "context state", and how information is fed to us is going to be determined by our context state at the moment we look for that information. Molecular information is the way we make this possible, but questions arise about what we usually call "validity".
What does it mean if information is only valid for a very short time? How do we assure reliability? In this workshop we will explore, via hands-on activities, the role of context in determining the information offer presented to a user, and what kinds of algorithms we will need.
